Leigh
Leigh is the founder and director of Rogue Wolves K9.
After spending close to 10 years within Humberside Police, Leigh honed his skills with dogs whilst working under the Special Ops Dog Unit. Leigh specialised in dangerous dogs and was a qualified Dog Legislation Officer, this put him on the expert witness list for courts nationally.
Running the dangerous dog unit saw Leigh take on various high stake operations involving the removal of highly trained protection dogs from criminal addresses, running task forces to infiltrating illegal dog fighting operations and assess prohibited breeds for crown court, whilst also managing the kennels in which Humberside Police contracted.
Leigh was also used by the National Crime Agency to assist on nation wide operations, deliver training to dog officers and police staffing as well as used to teach government organisations about dangerous dog handling and legislation.
Due to this Leigh has specialist knowledge and expert handling skills with high drive, reactive and dangerous dogs.
Backed with high levels of training and qualifcations obtained through the college of policing as well as real world hands on experience Leigh opened the doors to his academy in 2024, in the hope to bring his skillset to the general public and help them secure a better future for themselves, family and dogs.
Rogue Wolves is named after Leigh's Dutch Shepherd Rogue, whom he rescued from a criminal organisation back in 2019, Rogue is now fully rehabilitated and a working family pet, she now plays a vital role in the rehabilitation of clients of the academy.

Danielle
Danielle is Leigh's wife, head of administration for Rogue Wolves K9.
She keeps all operations within the academy running smoothly.
After leaving Leeds Metropolitan university with a 1st Class Bachelor of Honor's, Danielle joined a large government organisation where she specilised in a number of roles, this included the tutoring of new officials and the organisation and application of specialist operations.
She is known for her dedication and leadership within an extremely hostile, confrontational and front line role. She currently is on a career break from this full time occupation so that she can aid the academy with her specialist skillset.
Danielle has specialist knowledge and handling experience of dangerous dogs from within this professional role and brings this tool kit to Rogue Wolves Academy.
Danielle specialises in high levels of obedience in both pet and working breeds, taking the most complex of tricks and skills for dogs to a new level. Her fluid movement and attention to detail allows the dogs to have a clear understanding of what's being asked of them whilst building their confidence in order to transfer the skills learnt across to the owner.
Danielle's dog Opie who is the son of Rogue has been trained by her and the team in high levels of obedience and is now progressing through his training to be their personal family protection dog.
